• Instruction permit required: Yes - must have held a state-issued permit for at least 1 year. This does not include the time the driver's education permit slip is held. Please visit the Kansas Department of Revenue - Reopening to schedule an appointment with the driver's license office to obtain the state-issued permit.
• 50-hour affidavit required: No - at 15 must have at least 25 hours; must provide 50 prior to 16 to move to lesser restrictions

• Instruction permit required: Yes - must have held a state-issued permit for at least 1 year. This does not include when the driver's education permit slip is held. • Driving restrictions: Anywhere from 5 am to 9 pm; anytime going to or from work; anytime going to or from authorized school activities; directly to or from any religious worship service held by a religious organization; anytime/anywhere with a licensed adult - minimum age 21

• Passenger restriction: No more than one non-sibling passenger under the age of 18
